Cylinder 1 and 2 not firing....

Post by scoobyleg1 »

I have a 93 turbo legacy wagon and I just recently put it back together from replacing the trans and rear diff. Come to find out.. I got the wrong rear diff. So i took it back and now im looking for another one..

Anyways.. I go to start the car and its missin like crazy. Cylinder 3 & 4 are the only ones firing. I have checked all the wires and fuses and cant fipnd anything wrong. I dont no where to look next. Any advice?

Thanks

Bad coil.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

As Steve indicated, it's likely a bad coil. I'd also check the wiring from the coil to ignitor and ignitor to the ECU.

Have you checked your wiring? If you've checked the coil & ignitor and still have the problem, it's either wiring or possibly ECU.
