i've got a turbo'ed outback, there is quite a bit of work involved but it can be done. Engine management is always the key, the factory ECU doesn't do well with much boost but I have a friend with a turbo'ed Legacy on the stock ECU using an SAFC to control fuel, he only runs like 6 psi though.

As stated, it can be done with alot of work. I would personally try to find a SS or WRX motor or something though, ive never been a big fan of just taking an N/A motor and slapping a turbo on there. People do it successfully all of the time, just not something I would do.
