Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
If anyone has a stage 2 revtronix chip and is going a different route with engine management, id be willing to pay $300 for one.
I need one that is meant for a Td04 with 440cc injectors. Thanks

Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
they are out of business..... are they still shipping them out?
Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
The site seemed active so I would assume so and I could add to cart but you would have to get to the checkout and find out I guess
Off topic question but if you go with these mods (td04 440cc etc) and chip would you need the wrx fuel pump to match up with the injectors or no?

Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
ummmm, im not sure if you would NEED it, but I would HIGHLY recommend a walbro 255. I payed $100 from TRE Performance. Thats the best deal I found, and that should be able to supply all the fuel you need, unless if you go all out crazy, but the walbro is a damn good start, especially at that price. I sent an email to the Revtronix site or w/e so i will see what they say.
Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
Well shouldn't a wrx fuel pump for wrx turbo and injectors suffice? Wrx fuel pumps are even cheaper
On another note let me know how the contact goes

Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
well i would imagine the WRX pump will do just fine, but might as well get an sti pump or walbro, that way you won't need to upgrade the same part again
Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
Would that create some sort of overkill for fuel or would the chip account for the bigger pump? not really sure how that would go considering the site didnt say anything about upgrading a fuel pump

Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
no it wouldn't flood the engine or anything. It just has the capability of pushing 255lph, it doesnt actually just push it right off the bat. The injector size is what really determines how much your getting from how I understand it. say you just threw 800cc injectors on your car, that would not be good, but the walbro 255 would be fine with your stock injectors or 800cc injectors (considering you had all the supporrting mods & tune). But when dealing with upgrading your car and trying to make it faster, fuel delivery is a very important aspect
Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
so running 440cc injectors and the chip would account how much fuel is needed no matter how big the pump is? My buddy said I would need a fuel pressure regulator so it could be adjusted

Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
From what I understand, if you have 440cc injectors, and the other required mods for the stage 2 chip, the chip somewhat "tunes" the car to compensate for the extra air and fuel. I don't believe you need a fuel pressure regulator, it doesnt say anything about it on the site. Actually I think we have one stock, but I really don't know anything about them so I'm not sure how that comes into play
Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
Okay so I read up a little bit on the site and from what I collected the MAF will send info to the chip/ecu on how much fuel is needed for the correct air to fuel mix sooo... I guess it won't matter how big the fuel pump is, but I assume at least a wrx fuel pump is needed without getting fuel cut with the stock one

Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
well the chip actually acts as a fuel cut defender as well. I wouldn't do the stage 2 upgrade without a bigger fuel pump n my car, but thats just me. $100 is well worth knowing your getting all the fuel you need in my eyes
Re: Anybody selling a revtronix stage 2 chip?
Yeah definitely. Its pretty easy to get a WRX fuel pump for <50 bucks

Search this site for fuel pumps...the flows are listed. The WRX pump (@ least 'til '08) is no bigger than the stock turbo legacy's, so the only reason to get one is as a replacement. The STi is only slightly bigger, albeit sufficient for anything under 250HP, but I'd just get the Walbro 255 and be done w/it. You'll be good to go.
If $$ is more important, get an STi pump, but don't bother w/the WRX. You may need an adapter kit for the STi pump, too.
The REV chip is specifically tuned for the injectors that the Customer has when ordered (when it was still avl.). Since it uses the same 'logic' as the stock ECU it can probably learn between the small differences in injectors, but just like the stock ECU there is a limit to the learning.
There is info on here of people running 440cc, 480cc and even Sti 550's, w/some success on the stock ECU. I personally wouldn't go above the 440's, otherwise your gas mileage and performance will suffer. Running too big can be just as bad as too small an injector.
The stock WRX injectors are top feed, I believe and won't fit the stock EJ22T fuel rails...Not sure what you'd need to use them. Only the JDM 440's and 480's fit (Search on here). The STi 550's will fit the '92-'94 NA rails, and you can also use NA rails from the '96-'99 EJ25...maybe the EJ22, too.

Site is 'active' but not for purchases. If you create an account and check the Subaru forum you'll see a bunch of 'spam' posts in the Forum. This has been the case for months now. The owner hasn't been heard from since Feb. 2010 @ least.
Suggest you check out this POST and there is also a post called "The legacy of Revtronix" by BSOD2600, that I can't find.
