Code 35 being the Canister Purge Solenoid Valve. Should be a simple fix on that one, however, I want to make sure it might not be the Canister itself? As opposed to the Solenoid Valve? I am unsure since the CEL doesn't remain on. I figure if the Solenoid Valve is bad, shouldn't the CEL be on at all times? Or am I misunderstanding how the Canister Purge system works? (probably that one

The Canister has developed holes in its old age, and the lines have cracked. I JBWelded the holes, and replaced the lines with new ones. I did this quite some time ago, long before these Codes, so I don't think that should have any affect.

Code 49 being the 'Use of an Improper Air Flow Sensor'. I have no idea what this could mean.

I have Cleared these Codes, only for them to come back as stated in the manner above.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
