The Resurrection

Post by dscoobydoo »

We picked up Dwreck's legacy this weekend. ( he is in AK and does not have the time for it)

Since this is Subaru #4 we now own, we are not sure of the plans for it.

It is going to be a bit before it makes it here to Seattle ( have a few wiring issues as well as the licensing.

So very glad to see this go to a good home. Had I not picked up my parts car and used up my funds I would have been all over it.

Please keep us posted on it's progress. Further, if you end up needing a hand on any of the wiring, I'm over in CDA and would be willing to lend some help.

I had forgotten about this.
Well, I sourced another JDM 16G turbo, an AWIC core, 440 injectors and a few other parts I had laying around.
I will just post the pics and let them speak for themselves.

The car does still need some paint on the hood to re-do the clear coat issue.
I loaned the car to Rob to use as his test mule in hacking the ECU code.
But I too am going to put a 20G ECU in it, soI have two STI-RA 20G ECUs on route from Japan as we speak.

The car does run well with the 16G andthe 440's.

Is that an EJ20G being run on a 22T Harness?

How much boost are you running on the 16G with 440cc injectors? Injector Duty cycle by any chance?

It is still the EJ22T, but will soon be running on an EJ20G ECU. Stock boost right now, but plan on 15 lbs with the STI-RA ECU

Sweet, looks *similar* to my set up...EJ20G on a 22t harness, 440 injectors, and a WAIC

I've been really thinking about the 16G, does it perform well at stock levels?

It didn't work because you had "disable bbcode" checked. I fixed it.

The 16G and the 440's work pretty well with the stock ecu. Other than a loss in fuel economy, I have not noticed anything else bad. It idles good and the pick-up is much better.
