I didn't think they sold a 2.2 in Japan, but I would seriously doubt there's a difference. I can't see a difference between the turbo and N/A cranks.

If it's really the 22b crank then it's phase 2 with a different thrust bearing location from the ej22t.

So it's an aftermarket crank. You'll have to ask them if it's phase I or Phase II, or possibly machined for both. If it's phase I or both, then it'll work. To be honest, though, the ej22T crank is forged, and is strong enough for all but the highest HP builds. And the dealer still stocks them.

Yeah, the bottom end parts of both USDMs are forged—cranks and rods. Buying N/A EJ22 might be cheaper, too.

thx everyone, I'll keep my ej22t crank then and micropolish it!
Details of my build:
EJ22T Block
EJ22T crank
Custom CP pistons (8.5:1->EJ20G heads)
Eagle rods
Legacy EJ20G Heads
Planning on fmic, don't know what turbo and manifold to go with .... anyone have a similar setup?
