Made a 3inch to 2 inch cheapo coupler fit on my throttle body. What a disaster! Found a massive boost leak that has been there for who knows how long. Turbo has been sounding really loud so I thought I'd look into it. There was a huge tear in the coupler from the saab ic outlet to the TB. Our TB is not 3inch btw lol. I made a rubber ring to take up the extra space for a tight fit out of the torn old coupler. Need to find a replacement before it blows off.

today i tried to be a hero and create a pathway in my alley after yesterdays blizzard... maybe i'm a crappy driver, but snow tires and "AWD" in my touring wagon will still get stuck in 3ft of snow... i should have put my coilovers on and lifted it before the snow storm. lol.

Ordered brand spanking new front wings and scheduled a vehicle emission test to check if it will go through MOT without tampering with the ecu.

Used a junkyard rear defrost switch for power mode. Whos really gonna notice a second rear defrost switch, not many people.

i cleared out my tail lights today. and a few days ago i installed new trailing arms, lateral links, coilovers, outer tie rods, and mounted my new used 17inch rims (for when it stops snowing). as soon as my parts come in i'll be throwing in some front/rear sway bars, aluminum control arms with all new bushings/alks/ lower ball joints, steering rack bushings, and rear trailing arm spindle bushings (im scared..). o and i'll be aligning my car for the 50th time this week... so much fun... so little time.. lol

Put on my MBC, then took it off again because my intercooler isn't on and it's not worth it.

But a couple days ago I got my downpipe on :D I think I had an exhaust leak because a 4"-3" catless DP shouldn't be quieter than my stock one, but it sure sounds better.

Did some doughnuts in a snowy gravel parking lot, some random person was there in a bronco and they stopped sliding around and watched me. It was quite fun.

I just did this too  Anyone that stopped to watch me was probably just angry though.

But I've had that happen before, I kinda get the feeling they're just not used to cars doing off road kind of stuff, throws them off.

New (to me) '08 Forester FXT leather steering wheel installed and WRX seats. My '90 didn't have an airbag, so no loss there. Rewired the cruise control and gained the newer style's - '92+ - ability to Cancel. There is a bigger gap between the back of the wheel and the housing, but works for me.

The WRX seats fit OK; passenger side is higher (and doesn't have the up/down adjustment of the driver's seat), and doesn't seem to go back as far.

I replaced the passenger side mirror on the Impreza yesterday. I whacked it on a garbage can two Mondays ago and broke the mirror and shattered into the car...hahaha. Oopps. It took more time vacuuming the mirror up then it did to replace the mirror.

BTW, if anyone is looking for a replacement mirror, Subaru sells just the mirror glass. It's held on by two double sided sticky pieces. Also the part # for the 97 OBS is incorrect in Subaru's books. Subaru says I should have this mirror, 91039AC080, which is for the newer more rounded mirrors. This is the correct part # 91032AA341.

Pics (Sorry, no pics of the mirror mess in the car)

More snow days. Pictures are from yesterday, but technically I still drove in the snow today :P This is definitely the most snow I've seen since I lived in Utah. When I drove to class this morning I was plowing snow by about 2" all the way through the parking lot

Ordered a set of bonnet dampers. Normally I hate those, but the stick holding the bonnet is silly, so off it goes.

Replaced leaking exhaust pipe upstream from cat. Removing original exhaust pieces off of any 94 is always fun. BTW, dealer was clueless about this short pipe even existing!

I took a look at blinking fender lights and made a harness for the drivers side which works fine but I need to track down the fender lights now lol. If anyone is interested in it I can explain the process.
