How do you want them? They are glowshift gauges. Cheap but get good quality. All of my gauges are glowshift.

How are you going to fit those wrx fog lights into the n/a bumper? Or do you have a turbo bumper to put on so theres more room? Can't wait to see how you mount them and how they look installed.

That gauge location is not half bad. Are you able to read them clearly or will you need to angle them a little?

no i will use the N/A bumper and put them in place of the turn signals. still have to work out how i will make a new turn signal. either put it inside the fog lights or use some king of led bar.

have no problem reading them

You could do what Florin did and convert the corner lights to blinkers, it doesn't look like its too difficult and I think it makes a world of difference to get the blinkers out of the bumper and into the corner lights.

I already did that a long time ago but I wouldn't feel safe just having that. Don't think it is bright enough. All I did was splice the corners into the blinkers.

I like the gauge placement. I really want to modify the dash and make a compartment so I can install the display link, but not sure how or where I'd put it.

It's not a big deal swapping to manual if you have all the parts!

The clutch master cylinder is what you'd need to install. The slave will be mounted on the transmission. Also, if you do it, bypass the stupid clutch damper if you have one. It's inline between the master and slave cylinders.

How is the glare off the windsheild with that gauge placement? My previous setup was pretty bad and I couldn't dim the gauges.

Magnaflow direct fitment. thanks fishbone79

Kind of wierd here but called magnaflow and they said it is supposed to be tapered like this, wish it was a little cleaner.

My guess as to the reason for the taper is that the cylinders in each bank fire consecutively, with the forward cylinder firing first. The taper is there to increase the velocity of the exhaust gas immediately exiting from the rear cylinder. If I'm right, the reason the taper wouldn't cause a restriction is because the forward cylinder's pulse passes by as the rear cylinder gas enters the tapered section, leaving a nice low(er) pressure zone to "suck" the rear cylinder gas into the main pipe to follow the forward cylinder's pulse. This, of course, would only happen at a specific rpm range, and I would guess that would be at the high end. The reason they wouldn't use a taper in the front is because there's no scavenging effect for it (the opposite cylinder bank has to fire in between, so the rear cylinder's gas is long gone by the time the forward fires again and the lower pressure zone over the larger pipe length leading to the forward cylinder would be weak anyway), so the taper in front would only result in a restriction.

I wonder if it's not such a good idea to be porting things left and right as is common practice on every car forum on the interwebz? Maybe these manufacturer's actually have good reason to design things the way they do. Although there's many instances where cost outweighs efficiency and performance.
