ground points

been having idle issues i think its related to grounding/electrical issues. what are some good grounds to check that anyone has seen in the past fail or come lose... something idk thanks!!

The ecu ground on the pass strut tower.
93 Turbo Wagon, 5mt swap, vlsd, sti slanty, vf10, alk, subframe lockout, gr2's, sti sways.

No, the ECU ground is on the intake manifold on the back driver's side. There is a bolt and ring terminal there that ties into the engine harness.

My bad, I was told that by a couple local hardcore subie guys, not sure of their sources tho.

Not to bump an old thread but I had a question about the grounds on the driver side strut tower. There are 3 grounds, 1 single by itself and then a double ground. I looks like some creature had a chew fest on the double ground connection and chewed through the wires.

My question being, if i wanted to repair them, does it matter what ground wire from the harness goes to what terminal? Or do I need to trace the harness wire to make sure that I am repairing it correctly.

*Note* the loss of ground seems to have no effect on the operation of the car.

No, it doesn't matter which ground wire you connect to which point on the strut tower.
