Re: ground points
No, the ECU ground is on the intake manifold on the back driver's side. There is a bolt and ring terminal there that ties into the engine harness.

Re: ground points
My bad, I was told that by a couple local hardcore subie guys, not sure of their sources tho.Legacy777 wrote:No, the ECU ground is on the intake manifold on the back driver's side. There is a bolt and ring terminal there that ties into the engine harness.

Re: ground points
Not to bump an old thread but I had a question about the grounds on the driver side strut tower. There are 3 grounds, 1 single by itself and then a double ground. I looks like some creature had a chew fest on the double ground connection and chewed through the wires.
My question being, if i wanted to repair them, does it matter what ground wire from the harness goes to what terminal? Or do I need to trace the harness wire to make sure that I am repairing it correctly.
*Note* the loss of ground seems to have no effect on the operation of the car.

Re: ground points
No, it doesn't matter which ground wire you connect to which point on the strut tower.
