GI. Aftermarket shifter knob for AT.

Post by Danny-G »

I'm thinking about parting with my skifter knob as I replaced it today. It had to have the hole drilled out more so it would accept the legacy stick but that doesn't affect the appearance. Screws aren't required for it to work although they will fix the slow turning it has from use. I had to do some repair work to one of the tabs on the button but, visually, it doesn't show. In low gears, the button does have slop but a small spring will fix it. If I find a spring I'll edit this post.
It looks like this.

And installed in my car.

If theres enough intrest I'll most likely let it go as I got an outback knob today and thats what I had wanted in the first place.

Bump. This would look great in a car with grey interior. Should fit second gen. too.
