Ah, I see. Good choice. I'm gonna install some of the newer side marker turn signals on my 90. I've already got them blacked out so it looks just like the stock slots. I need to cut the panels a bit and then wire them up and they'll be good to go. I hate not having side signals.

wait so you have side markers on the fender already? stock? where and how? i grabbed some from a 93 thinking i could just switch the little cover thing but it turns out the hole is not a wide as the 93 is and the pins are spaced out more on the 93 also.

You get the trim piece. Remove the old trim piece. Place the new one sans lens on the fender. Trace out the hole with Sharpie or something. Take off trim piece, cut out that hole. Make sure everything fits well and adjust hole if necessary. Seal edge with seam sealer or something. Put it all together. I used double sided tape to secure the trim. I'd also cut a pigtail of the wiring from the donor car with the connector attached so you can just splice them into the new wires you'll have to run and then you'll have an OEM connector to use. I also unwrapped my harness along the left fender and rewrapped it so that no one would know . . . of course, nobody's going to actually see it, but I'm done doing hack jobs on things.

Oil changed, added some gas, and before the oil change the lifters were nice and quiet and the o2 sensor wasn't acting up. After the oil change the lifters were louder and the o2 sensor is back to acting up. Current mileage is 257,860 and still runs like a champ!

How long had it been since your last oil change?

This stuff's not cheap, but it'll get rid of any carbon in there.

Got Angel back from AAMCO. Hows THIS for a laundry list?

Rebuild "kit"
Filter
B73020 Band (?)
Torque converter
ECS Front Planet (planetary gear Im assuming)

Owner blamed the Turbo for the transmition failure and told me he'd void the warranty if I came back. Told him if the trans went AAMCO wouldn't see me again.

Oh... also reinstalled the newly repainted rear wing.

What's up with your turbo? Also, how is there a warranty on a car that old?

Just discovered why the o2 seosor is throwing a code..... theres no wires connected to it! And Theres a three pin connector on the right side of the transmission that has nothing hooked up to it, that connector also points towards the exhaust so I'm guessing its for the o2 sensor. This is the connector that I'm talking about.

Pretty sure he was just looking for a place to lay blame and was looking at all the aftermarket goodies on the car. I asked for more detailed information and he stuttered a bit and eventually managed to say he thought maybe it was making to much power.

I have a warranty because I had them rebuild my trans last July. They damaged my induction system and where complete twats about it. I'd pretty much made up my mind never to do business with AAMCO again.

Then the trans fails again... with about 5000 miles on it.

That's freakin BS. And they knew about the aftermarket parts before right?
They could have turned down your business then.

Got a set of driving lights and mounted them on the rear bumper, replaced the one on the left and added one on the right. I also got enough paint to do the hood too, looking forward to doing that. I'll have pictures of the lights later with output shots.

I hear you on that Matt. Chrome is best suited for classic cars, not late model imports.

Switched to the old damaged hood so I can paint the good one. Makes the car kinda ugle but at the same time it looks 100 times better cause the color matches.
