Dang. That was a lot more than I did. I just cleaned mine with soapy water and sprayed them with some grill paint and rubbed them with a cloth til they turned shiny.

Assuming that you have a wagon, how do you get the rear wiper off?

@ jake15: This was really the only gain I could think of. Just less of a path for the intercooler piping. And yeah...it does look cooler. What do you have to modify to make it work though?

You have to do a few things, flip over the alternator to be in the ac condenser's location, possibly do some cutting on the lower hood cross supports, find belts, possibly extend some wiring. it's really not that big of a deal, but like he said way shorter intercooler pipes and it definately takes on a 11 out of 10

I'd like to know how it's done with that manifold in regards to the throttle body position—it's not so much the hood interference with that as much as the required angle of entry and the associated further clearance problems of the intake hose going into it. Taking a quick look at it, I didn't see a way to do it without modifying the hood or the manifold plenum.

I got backed into last August in an area with no cameras and there was no insurance info left for me. But its in the past now and I already have all the replacement parts so I'm not worried about it.

bingo, there will be a piece of pipe welded to the throttle body itself and the coupler for the actual removable pipe will be 8 inches or so pre throttle body. heres a pic test fitting my bros throttle body setup which is almost the same as what i'm going to run. the pipe clears the hood by about 1/2 inch. i also got the turbo bolted up

Replaced the driver's side strut, and also replaced the passenger side's fender, lower control arm, strut, axel, ball joint, tie rod end, and the sway bar connector... never let your friends drive your car while your in another state.

So far he paid for the fender, axel, and ball joint. But I had to pay for the rest of it, just to get it running because he didn't have enough cash to cover it all. So he's going to pay me back.

Hood painted, gonna wet sand it before clear coat. And I gotta figure out a way to fight over spray so the clear is shiney.
