Yeah, i'm working on it. I keep trying to get pictures where the contrast is high enough, but it's not panning out. Do we have a photography wiz on the forums? How should i be shooting this to get the maximum contrast?

Levels adjusted slightly

I think black vinyl looks really sharp on white, but on a darker car it loses some of its attention grabbing effect. i'll try to get better pictures later.

Working on installing a Forester digi-compass and possibly gonna add a keyless system from a '98 Outback. I'm also working on adding the '95-'99 tweeters. Kinda old news, but I moved up a trim level, from "L" to "LS". Other than not having a sunroof, my car is technically an "LS".

Pick n Pull in Arlington. Checked through Affordable Auto Wrecking in Seattle, the Pick N Pull in Lynwood, then finally in Arlington to find ONE car in that color, and it was missing the passenger side fender already.

It's not perfect, had a couple small spots of surface rust that I had to grind down and touch up, but it's not too bad.

What color did you need? I saw red, maroon, and silver in the various yards. There were a couple others but I don't recall color...But Pick N Pull has them listed by color so you could call to find out.

Installed the temperature sensor and wiring for the Forester digi compass and did some prep work to get ready to put the compass in where the ashtray was. Could put the stereo there actually and then drinks won't block it and the 1.5 din box would help protect it. Hmmmm, I just might put the stereo there and move the box up to the top of the stack and have the compass below it. I think thats what I'll do, 1.5 din box on top, Forester digi compass, and stereo in place of the ashtray. I see no reason to have the ashtray since I don't smoke and I don't allow smoking in my car.

Few days ago: New windshield, tried to fix the top dash vent covers, and replaced the roof rails (runners?) that were peeling.

Image
Because the glass was out I was able to get to the vent covers better. All the posts for the driver side one and some of the posts for the passenger side one are broken. I used some butyl to try and hold them down

My (555 sticker is gone now. I kind of miss it. Before I had a reason to put it there, but now that series of scratches are gone because it's a different windshield. My buddy has a vinyl cutter, so he came over the other day with a bunch of yellow rally pig stickers. My thing with stickers is that I feel they kind of make the car look less clean, but he went through all the effort to make them, so i'm debating putting one on the mirror where it's supposed to go. I have a slight affinity for the rally pig sticker after reading it's origins.

What say you? New (555 sticker on the windshield and rally pig sticker on the mirror? Neither? Combination there of? Input appreciated!

Replaced the Coolant Temperature Sensor and cleaned the EGR including the hoses that went to it. Judging from the carbon built up I'd say its never been cleaned in its life

OC: Heck, I have the rally pig stickers on my mirrors, but
I also take my car off-road. I have 555 mudflaps on my
RS, but rarely take it off-road. It's whatever you like.

DD50: Cool deal, man! You may want to think about
cleaning out the intake manifold, throttle body and
idle air controller and getting them some new gaskets
while you're at it.

Wasn't toady but I've been enjoying tearing up some grass and getting sideways, Always a good time! Can't wait for the white stuff so I can really get sliding. :smt023 On the sticker topic, I rock a rally pig on the left mirror and an eat sleep subaru one on the right mirror. If you liked the 555 sticker, I say add one. As for the rally pig you can put it on, see if you like it and if you don't, stickers are removable.

Its the outdoor gokart track at Pacific raceways in Kent. They just started doing hot lap sessions, $25 for 6 laps(same piece as gokarts), comes out to $38 after insurance and tax though. Everyone makes the board, lol, they've only been doing it a week or so

Ok, so I finally got some higher contrast shots of my roof. Probably because of the frost and what not, but at least in these shots you can see what's kinda going on:
