Looks good. I think some chrome or other shiny coating would help them blend into the front end a little better.

Its about time for another update I suppose. I have been enjoying my car all summer with the 6 speed and reliable power. With the new tune it has been faster and smoother than ever before. I have only been pushing around 10lbs of boost but it was plenty fast. Last week I installed a boost controller and began pushing it up. At 17lbs it is was a monster but almost immediately after I began having issues with blowby . It seems that a rebuild is in order...

I finally found a clean shell to swap my built motor and 6 speed into. It belonged to a little old lady who bought it new in 93 and only managed to put 66 thousand miles on it. It is super clean especially for a New England car. Now i just need to finish the motor and make this thing a beast.

Look at how clear those headlights are!!! I never see them that clear other than on my own car. You should do a small photo shoot of the low mile car before starting the swap.

I have not done much with this since I got it home. Switched interiors and cleaned it. I was psyched to discover that this model has no abs. This car will be a bit lighter then the the average SS. No abs, no a/c, no sunroof = win.

How much work was sanding the fluting outta the headlight lenses and keeping them so clear?

Update! The 22t is currently at the machine shop getting acl bearings, eagle rods, and cp pistons. Mikeymeyagi and I plan to swap in the 6 speed before the motor is finished to make the most baller n/a 93 legacy ever. In the meantime I have put on my new Advan wheels I purchased from Mike. I also have been painting things to be more stealthy.

Those brakes look hott. Did you sand those chrome strips down really good and spray them with some primer or adhesive promoter first?

Thanks! I sanded the chrome a bunch and used several lite coats of black wheel paint. i peeled the tape while it was somewhat tacky to avoid pulling flakes with the tape. Hopefully this will last. On my white SS I sprayed the entire black strip white and it flaked and looked like crap in a few places.

I finally fixed the goofy stance with a set of BC coilovers. Also finally painted and installed the sport bumper and not rusty fenders from my old car. I am still waiting on the machine shop to finish building the motor but it should be done soon.

The car is finally back from Meyagis! I am still breaking it in but with the higher compression motor and the updated Robtune it feels like a whole new animal. I could never have completed this project without Mikes help. His workmanship speaks for itself when looking at this build. We were able to hide and tuck several items and we always took time to make things look organized and clean. I still have a ton left to do on the car but I can finally drive it again and that makes the entire effort worth while.
