Strong shudder as engine shuts off only when hot

Title says it all. My 91 shudders strongly when the engine shuts off, but only after the car is fully warmed up.

I'm guessing motor mounts, but why only when hot? I don't want to dismiss other possibilities and would like some input.

grab ahold of your engine and try to shake it by hand if you get excessive play then probably motor mounts

It almost feels similar to the shudder you feel when you almost stall a manual car. All cars vibrate a bit when you turn off the engine, but mine shakes enough to feel like a shudder and only when its fully warmed up.

is this an EJ22 or EJ22T?

might be trying to diesel a tiny bit ("run-on") so I would check the resistance of the fuel injectors to see if it's squirting some extra fuel in there and its catching a spark. Also timing or TPS?

Motor mounts, obviously check those.

EJ22. TPS has already been adjusted.
