I have a manual boost controller and my boost solenoid is all capped off. Can I remove it all together without causing any problems?
Also, For the other two sensors that I'm still using, do they need to be oriented the way they were from the factory? I just moved them behind the brake proportioning valve or whatever that thing is and they're crooked now. One is sideways and the other is upside down.

You'll get a CEL w/out it plugged in - stock and EJ20G ECU. If you get a 'dropping resistor' (DR) from an AT-equipped car (turbo and NA) it will prevent the CEL- it has the same plug/connector. They are mounted on the backside of that bracket that holds the turbo sensors.
EDIT: Check the plug on the BCS. The DR were round on the '90-91 Automatics; square on the '92+. Per Josh's link below.
I don't know whether the other sensors need to be kept upright.

So far no problems with the way they're mounted. What is a dropping resister? I'll go look for one in the junkyard. But I didn't think NA cars had that bracket?

I see, cool. Not as cool as removing it completely and not replacing it but that might be smaller and easier to tuck away where the other sensors got moved to.

It may be an airbag sensor or possibly a g sensor for the ABS system. I'm going to guess g sensor, usually the airbag sensors are closer to the front of the car.

It will when I get rid of abs. For now the ss sits collecting rust on its rotors looking real sad.

Don't know. Haven't even looked at it. I just removed the battery to use in my metro and went from getting 23 mpg to 42 and I haven't had time to pull the tranny to find out what broke. My guess is new clutch fork and clutch.
