dumb question

Post by turbo970 »

i got the subie running fairly well. well at a idle anyways. when i put it in drive and give it gas it stalls. my neighbor said to unplug the maf sensor and see if it helped. well i tried it and it died as soon as i unplugged it. should it stay running or stall out?

Disconnect the connector from the MAF sensor before you start the car and see if it will run.

You can likely get a used TPS and/or another throttle body with TPS for relatively cheap in the parts shed.
