Weird Problem?

Post by devilzdriver »

Well i finally got my car all put back together. New suspension tie rod ends, and the works. When i make a right hand turn it makes an odd grinding noise. I have not gotten an alignment yet, but its only when i make a right. Also when im driving the trans sounds like its grinding possibly any ideas on what to throw in to help squash the sound and maybe make her a little happier? Any ideas on what the grind is thanks. Funny you say that i actually lifted it about 1/2 over stock ride height the car was slammed before both front CV axles where shot like bearings falling out lol, replaced that and thought all was good now this :/

Check for tire clearance on the fenders and all that with the wheels at full lock.

Do you have an auto or manual trans?

Stock tire size? If not, then tires likely rubbing.

Also, if you bought the cheap CV axles they could be bad - I've bought 4 new ones for my Subarus over the years and 2 were bad out of the box....both were el cheapos (hey, I'm a slow learner!).

HAHAHA! I'd rather take my chances with the junkyard or NASIOC for axles.
