check engine randomly comes on then I have no boost

Whats happening? my check engine will come on a random times, then i wont have boost. then it ill go off, and i have boost again? any ideas? i took it in for the check engine and the guy said there was no codes.

Check the stored codes. You can check it yourself.

Try them again - if your light came on and you lost power then went off you should have a code.
