Turbo vs N/A Flywheel Differences

Post by beaconhillkilla »

I have a flywheel from an early model JDM ej20g impreza, will I be able to use this flywheel in conjunction with the N/A transmission from an 06 impreza? Just wanted to find out before I had it resurfaced. It looks exactly the same as the the other N/A flywheels that I've used before.

If the flywheel is meant for a turbo trans with the pull clutch setup, then no it shouldn't be compatible with a non-turbo transmission with the push clutch setup.
