Replaced my 20k mile NGK coppers with brand new coppers. Found out my "Master Mechanics" plug gauge was severly off, so what I thought was .032" was actually .042". Got a new gauge and set the new plugs to .032".

Reinstalled my MSD Coil and wires, but I'm having serious spark cut at 5k rpm under full load. Alphius says it could be my crank or cam sensors, their wiring, or my coilpack lol. The diamond coil and stock wires do the same thing, but not nearly as severe.

Did the front suspension swap on the sedan the other day. Yeah, 269,000 mile suspension doesn't ride well at all.... 143,026 mile suspension, however, rides like new compared to the stock struts I took off. I also fixed my drivers fender marker/ turn signal repeater during the suspension work. Today, I finally got a new to me amp installed so I finally have my system working as it should again. I'm getting everything fixed up slowly, only the power steering and rear defog to fix. Power steering is no worry, cause parts car, but the rear defog I have no idea, I don't hear a relay clicking when I push the switch.

Mine just clocked over to 270k today. My ride is bouncy as hell and my front sits higher than my rear.. so ugly. I am gonna go for Raceland Coilovers hopefully soon.

Yup. Those are the Raceland ones. They make a GC Impreza set that fits right up to the Legacy. My friend and an old member on here 'scoobyadam' had them on his wagon before he sold it and they were pretty sweet. They got super low and rode pretty stiff. He bought the WRX ones (before they made the GC style) so he had to do some drilling but they still worked great.

I finally got my amps and subs wired in completely. Its not going to win any audio competitions, but it really fills the space with quality sound. I forgot what it like.

It's comprised of a Kenwood Excelon deck, 2 Rockford Fosgate 10" Punch subs in a custom built box, a Rockford Fosgate amp to power those, and another Rockford Fosgate amp for powering my component speakers.

This system was built by Street Sounds for, and taken out of, my old 2.5rs. Been in storage ever since. The whole set up cost a mint back in the day. Luckily the Legacy has the same trunk structure, and the box fits in there perfectly.

I replaced a gear shift indicator bulb too. :-D

Pulled the dash, took the fuse panel apart, put it back together, put it back in the car, car decided to keep the ignition key for now. All that for a stealthy kill switch that I'll be wiring in tomorrow. I think I finally found out why my rear defog wasn't working too, relay.

took off my front plate, then proceeded to spend the entire day paranoid about getting pulled over. Got back home and immediately put it back on. What ever insignificant aesthetic gains were had were just not worth the stress. I would make a terrible criminal.

Looks way better but believe me, you will get pulled over in no time. I got pulled over and ticketed for 5 over because no front plate. Cop said that's why he picked me from the others and said if he wanted to he could ticket me over $100 for the missing plate and another $100 for having a subwoofer which wasn't bolted down.

You've just got to look/act like you're supposed to be doing it :)

I haven't had a front plate on my Legacy in over 10 years.

Haha, maybe i'll go back to it. I think i'm going to try and make a plate delete before i try again. it's really obvious something is supposed to be there right now.

Yeah, I was going to say, the 92-94's have that indent there. The 90-91's actually had a bracket under the bumper and it's easily removable.

That would have been so much nicer...

I'm not sure if adding a delete is going to give me more trouble than just not having a plate. If i don't have a delete i can say to an officer who inquires that the last time i parked i noticed it was about to fall off and i'm going home to put it back on. but if i have a delete then i can't really use that excuse as it's obvious that i've intended for the plate to not be there.

I've been driving with an STi front plate, and haven't had an issue (yet). Without anything there it's noticeable there is a plate missing. But like Josh said, just act like you're supposed to be doing it. ;)

I thought about something like that, but then the idea of replacing a plate with a different plate seems off to me since it's the appearance of it being gone that i want.

Grabbed a Jecs MAF & Diamond coilpack from a local yard. Installed the coilpack.. Haven't driven enough to notice if it made a difference. New key cylinder for ignition so I can close the column back up. I'll probably put in my wrx rear seats later.

matching wrx seats installed, woot
