Car had been in limp mode for a week now. Pulled the codes today and got a maf code. Replaced it with my spare, hopefully that solves it. Goin to krispy kremes later so ill see how it does. Check wiring tomorrow for sure tho.

I pulled the EJ22 out of my '99 Legacy for the third time in a month; had to put a new style oil separator plate on and put the engine back in.
Everything went very well and hopefully the oil leak is fixed now. Took me a total of about 3 hours start to finish.

First time engine out: Bad clutch, replacement installed.
Second time engine out: Friend put clutch disk in backwards, d'oh.
Third time engine out: Original separator plate started leaking badly so replaced with new one.

Pulled the plastic cover off filler neck, lot of shit in there and some rust spots but doesn't appear to be leaking from this location. Sanded down and put a few coats of paint on/replaced that hose section because well.. Might as well. I'm pretty sure I have to drop my gas tank to really get to the leak. Suck.

& yeah, my fuel pump access cover area has been checked, all connections are good & no sign of leak.

Over the last week or so I've swapped most of my interior (dash, all the trim) from the ugly grey/brown in my 91 SS to the dark grey from the 92+ Looks 100x better and just as good as black imo. Only missing a few small pieces now.

^^ That looks familiar. I remember it all too well. What year is that motor? The engine and body plugs changed in 92. I found that out when putting the 94 motor in my 91. The solution to that issue stumped me for far too long. Then I found the 91 engine harness and it all plugged right in. A half hour fix took me 2 months to figure out. I didn't know I had the harness in my shed the whole time. Oh well, now I know about the differences.

Anyway, what I did today was pick up this heavy crate. A big thanks goes out to beatersubi for his help and logistics. I'll post more when the time comes to do a build thread.

Car had started sputtering and going crazy rich under high boost this past week. Read plugs to confirm is was going stupid rich, and spent a good 6 hours pondering which sensor would cause it to happen only over 11psi regardless of load/rpm. After concluding it makes no sense, I checked my charge pipe to find it slipped almost completely off the turbo/intercooler and was leaking like a siv under high boost.

sti control arms and ALK kit are going on the black knight.
custom control arms and ALK will be replaced on the 93 along with custom subframes as well as 07 5x114 hubs/axles...going with inverted BC coilovers for now till i get an airbag suspension setup.

Been neglecting my t-leg with all the focus on my impreza . She started running a bit ruff(poor idle, sluggish, choking out with full throttle).
After work today I pulled the MAF and cleaned it, that helped a little but didn't fully fix it.
I next pulled all the injectors and did a mild home brew cleaning. This helped alot, almost perfect.
I finished it by running some srafoam thru, wow did a lot of shit cough out!
Running like a champ again!

I finished up my trans wiring and got the engine bay put back together (minus the battery). I HATE putting that damn AWIC back in!! In the past I had to put the AWIC and the TB on together and then try and fight to put the bolts on for the TB. I ended up getting the AWIC back in without taking off the TB....that saved a lot of swearing....there was still some though.

Now I just need to put the dash back in and finish up some miscellaneous wiring. It's getting close!
