EJ22T stroker w/ EJ20 WRX heads Comression?

I am going to be building an Ej22T with 5.18" Phase 1 rods w/ 52mm journals, Ej251 crank, have the block machined for the #5 thrust, and the weisco pistons for the 2.35 stroker. Will be running the WRX ECU/Harness/IM/Heads.

Curious on the compression ratio of this engine.

The ej20 heads are 49cc, if I'm not mistaken the stroker pistons are advertised as 8.5:1 with the 46.6 ej25d heads. Without getting into real calculations it'd be 8.3-8.4:1

8.3:1 CR sounds right for that setup.

What rods are you using that are Phase 1 with the 52mm journals? I'd be interested in learning about these, since it is a much easier route to the Phase2 crank in Phase1 motor stroker build then the custom piston route I took.

The rods will be scat 5.18" rods with the 52mm journal. Ej251 crank. Thrust conversion. Weisco pistons

What HG do you use? Ej22T? or Custom cometic?

On my hybrid engine I will be running the stock HG thickness for the EJ25D heads, but with a bore size correct for a EJ22T. Cometic makes a decent amount of off the shelf thicknesses for the EJ22T.

If you are in Portland I would take it to Bearing Service Co. They have done it a few times.
