Hey guys Im trying to finish up a AT to Manual swap on a 91 legacy ss sedan, Iv got just about every thing together but when it comes to actually being able to start the car iv got nothing. Iv read on a couple threads that you have to jump pins 11 and 12 on the B15 connector from the AT tans harness. Problem is My uncle junked the AT trans a few weeks after I removed it thinking it was junk. Im wondering if there is any other way of getting the car to start?? I went to the dealer and bought a brand new AT trans harness but im not sure its got the correct connector on it. It has a b-4 stamped on it very small but idk if that's means something or not. Im gonna try and get a picture up of the harness I just purchased, I don't wanna cut it up before knowing its the right one. Im hoping someone on here can shed some light and help me out, Thanks.
The harness you have is the B16 harness. If you can take that back, I'd take it back.
Take a look at my write-up. There's a lot of good info there.
What you can do is peel the wiring loom back and either de-pin pins 11 & 12 from the chassis side harness and splice them together, or you can cut those wires just behind the connector and splice them with a weather proof butt connector or solder and heat shrink.
