I'm not new to soobs, but don't know a few things still. I have a 91 LS sedan that I drive the kids to school with to save miles on my Jeep. What can I use to upgrade the stock rear sway bar? Any direct bolt ons?
All ss's are turbo. You need a whiteline rear 20mm swaybar or a stock rear 18mm ss swaybar if your car is not an ss. whiteline is about 175 shipped if you shop around. Don't order from whiteline or the shipping will cost as much as the bar.

Anyhoo, if you have an SS, you already have the largest stock swaybar that'll fit and is easily available. If you have a non-SS, then a 18mm 96-99 Outback RSB would work. However, if you wanted to hammer out the spare tire "hump" then you could fit an RSB from an impreza (WRX, STI?).

Wait....I'm confused now.
Your vin implies the car was made in America, not that it matters to parts interchange but still a neat fact.
You'll probably have much better luck finding a 96-99 outback rear sway bar, they're still completely interchangeable with the 1st gen and same 18mm size.
