^^ Looks good! It's nice to see these guys getting fixed up and staying on the road.

I made a mess with my Subie this week. What started with a timing belt replacement is snowballing into a deep clean and then some. Oily timing belt, broken timing covers, crank seal almost out of bore, crank pulley worn almost through the sensor wheel, grimey nastiness under the cover, etc... gotta start somewhere. Oh, and those Company 23 tools, the SOHC Pulley Tool and the Crank Pulley Tool worked great! I highly recommend them, and if you buy some, buy direct from their site, it was the cheapest price I could find.

Thank you! Someday I am hoping to get a garage (currently don't have one) and start getting my hands dirty with the engine and learning how it works. Much like what your project is. Every now and then an EJ22T comes up locally. Would like to pick one up, tear it down and build it back up. That way I can still be driving and learn about the power plant at the same time! Currently I have zero skills in that department.

Bought it at 202,000 just over a year and a half ago and am almost at 232,000 now!

-Added a wrx hood scoop, wrx heat shield, wrx rims, saggy butt spacers, lowered car with gr2 struts with eibach springs. Sure there's something else I'm missing.

Test fitted my new sideskirts. Hopefully I can come up with an effective way to secure them permanently!

I got most of the tedious stuff done yesterday afternoon for the 98 GT. Gonna do the oil pan and timing then drop it in today. Fill it and see how it runs.

Project was replace the bad 2.5 with a 2.2 I had sitting in my garage. Hope it's a good motor.

Installed keyless entry. Used a kit off Amazon for $29. Came w/4 actuators but only need one on the driver's door.

Works well.

Put in the manual boost controller and set it to 10 psi. I like the response of this better than the stock controller. Moved the coolant tank for the intercooler install. Started the install and realized I need to figure out the F pipe and my connection to the turbo. Having a wtf moment. Need to hit the bbs threads again! Also did the rear wiper delete on my SVX.

Should post a link if you have a write-up to the keyless entry wtdash and I like that gauge holder!

The keyless entry needs to actuate the driver's door mechanism. That controls the auto-locking for all the doors. That's why he only needed to use 1 of the 4 actuators. I have that done too, and it's tied into my auto start. It's a nice feature.

If you need a solution for the 'F' pipe, maybe consider putting in a oil catch can. The old plastic pipes are so brittle with age, you might as well come up with a new solution.

Thanks for the info and solution. I am going to look into each of these some more. Makes sense with the 1 actuator now. Also, I have a slight amount of oil in my intake towards the turbo elbow (which I imagine everyone has) and the oil catch can solution seems like it will clean that up as well.

Passenger side front fender and de-snorkus. I am officially changing my screen name from just-rust to not-so-much-rust with both fenders swapped now!

What size wheels do you have dillon? Ride looks sweet!

I've been pretty busy lately. Got the 98 GT done, quick. Well sorta, I still have a transmission issue to diagnose. I think that may have been my fault. Jacked the trans up while putting the motor in, I used a piece of 2x6 bigger than the width of the pan but it still got a dent in it. Now it's got a P0740 and P0743, TC circuit. Eh w/e it still drives good, Limp mode FTW!

The 92.....

Figured out all of my exterior lights and rear power windows. All tail lights are wired up, even the trunk lights. Drilled a hole and routed my alternator wires. Used a plastic insulator so the wires wouldn't get chewed up by the frame. I'm ready to bolt the fenders and headlights to the car. The rear windows, Same plug as WRX and same order as far as up down and pwr. I just had to take about 14 inches of wire out. Way too long.

Still have to buy a bunch of stuff for it tho, Someone go buy that 91 SS in Lakewood, Wa so I can put money into my engine. I'm that close...

I thought those looked like tC wheels. I have a set for mine too. What a pain in the butt to get them to fit. You car looks really good. I really like that winestone color.
