@just-rust,

It's going in today. I'm stokeddddd. My clutch is bad though so I won't be able to feel the power in full effect.

My buddy accidentally knocked a beer glass off my 2nd floor balcony and it landed on my legacy :-(
Surprisingly the beer glass didn't break lol.

Installed my keyless entry today.

Still have some cleaning up to do, but had to stop since it started raining, and I gave up my double car garage to store 2 of my cars for the winter.

I saw your pics on facebook. Have you tried it with the door panel on? I remember having issues on my car with the actuator outside the door like that.

Hey,
I followed the directions from this thread here:
http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=42955

I measured and used those pictures to gauge where to put the actuator.
Afterwards I tried the door panel on and it fit perfectly.

The old VF11 decided to take a permanent vacation after 236,000 miles. Been putting in the td04 I had lying around. Fully welded exhaust system is not making the DP go on nicely. Tomorrow, hopefully I win.

3" V-band flanges are amazing, I think I paid 20 bucks for a pair with clamp on ebay. Worked out pretty well for me.

Today I won! td04 success and the V-band flange is an excellent idea cj. Didn't take to long to wrestle everything out of the hangers but I would much rather just undo a clamp!

I installed a new shift knob today and the big difference between the old 2004 & 2015 shift knob is the weight. The 2015 shift knob is almost 3 times as heavy as the 2004 shift knob.

Here are pics.

Does the heavier knob make it shift much better?

Over the weekend I replaced the old dead factory JECS fuel pump with a plug and play DeatschWerks DW200 and she's running again.

I drove the Legacy to the airport this morning and while it's probably anecdotal, it seemed to shift smoothly. I honestly couldn't tell you at this point whether it was "better" or not. My main complaint with the old shift knob was the stitching at the 6 o'clock position. It would rub against the palm of my hand.

I'll try and remember to provide an update after I've driven it some more.

Finished the Sparco steering wheel install yesterday.

Finished the '04 WRX hood scoop today....no cutting, only 2 small holes drilled in the hood and the factory under hood deflector is retained.

I finally added notes and uploaded my dyno plots. It took a lot of time editing and adding the notes to the plots!

Here's a link to the post in my build thread.

Got everything together, and it sounds great! I also fixed my coilover situation, and lifted the rears ½".
