So I have noticed a strange situation troubleshooting my new swap in the Turbo Legacy.
I noticed that there is 12v at all times at the injectors with no keys in the ignition. I looked through the FSM wiring diagrams, and it seems that this is correct. The yellow 12v wire is routed directly from the battery....no relays anywhere in line.
Anybody else notice this? On the n/a model the injector 12v is routed through the ignition relay.

Nissans do that too, the ECU grounds them when it wants to inject fuel

The 90-91 models did this too and it looks like the turbo legacies as well. As you noted, it's normal. If it's causing you issues, I'd insert a relay in the fender or in the cabin so that wire is only energized with the ignition.
