Quick lowering question...
I've helped lower a car before (well, I helped for a few hours before going back to school, but I know what's done).
I was wondering how different it would be lowering an AWD car (the car we lowered was a Taurus).
I'd like to know any experiences with "things I should have done" from you guys.
The Taurus lowering took like 4 days due to tool breakage (Cold weather).
While my car a 94, it has brand new struts so the hardwear should be alright and we can probably knock it out in a day or two.
Any tips would be great!
Phil

Oh, definately use proper springs. No comprimises when it comes to saftey.
Coilovers are a bit to harsh for my daily commute. I drive a lot of harsh roads. They would be nice, but the cost and the ride is kind of prohibitive.
As long as I won't be running into issues with the rear drivetrain, I'll be good

I've never lowered an IRS RWD car. But I have lowered an IRS FWD car.
I don't think I'll run into any problems. Even less problems if I swap struts and springs all at once.
