There's no arguing about it. There are those who have seen the devine light that is the post-facelift, and there are those that are still blinded by the poorly-lighted pre-facelift.
Functionally, it would seem that the post-facelift is better. I can see at night

You old people are all blind if you can't see at night in the pre-facelift.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
You realize that 91's came with more options to put that power to the ground better right?LaureltheQueen wrote:i like the pre-facelift looks better, but i like the post-facelift power better.

Until I lose my vision, I'll trust it. In over 200,000 miles of driving I've never been in an accident at night (or one that was my fault for that matter). I trust that which has never failed me, we can get existential about it (how do you know what you touch is real, etc.), but living in this dimension, I find such topics to be fleetingly interesting, but ultimately pointless. I do realize there are plenty of things that cannot be seen that do exist, but they don't seem to relevant to the task of driving.
The force does not run strong through me, either so trust in my vision I must do.

Steve - It's fine that you trust lights that don't let you see well, and I'm very glad that limited lighting hasn't gotten you into accidents. I'm just saying that you really can't even see as well as you think you can when you use lights with US-type beam patterns. Mesopic vision is a weird thing.

But it's useless to go back and forth with "A looks better." "No, B does!" "Oh, you must mean A." "That's a weird way to spell B." et cetera. And it's been done in countless threads already!
