So I was at the dump today...

This is for non-Subaru related topics. Keep it realistic please.

That is awesome! I've never seen one before. Interesting frame design and detailing. Even the original tires. Amazing shape - what a find, I love it. Why the hell would anyone just toss it? Even if they didn't know its value they could've dropped it to Good Will or something. Morons.

wow, thats pretty cool! I ride a lot of bmx, mostly dirt jumping but a little street and park.
I'm not old school enough to remember hutches, but I did have a homeless bikes "player" flatland frame as my first good bike. 8)
a friend of mine still has his old free agent with the double chainstays, Its called the traction plate IIRC.
I'm always seing bikes in the dump too, but looking for a beach cruiser I can cut up to make a chopper. I have a plan for how it will look(flat black, stock length forks, raked and lowered, old springy seat, drag bars) and I think I can do it for around $20 if I get a biike for free. the stuff people throw away boggles my mind.

Haha, ya. I actually had a 20" Free Agent for about 6 months back in about '91-'92. It was blue and it was nice and light. I traded an Elf "20 that I had at the time for it. I wish I wouldn't have traded the Elf for it though because I cracked the frame within six months. :(

It's funny you say that about the Cruiser because that's what we were looking for when I found the Hutch!

 I know, I know. I didn't want to clog up my Gallery on your site with non-Suby stuff.

Uuuhhh, to dump stuff? :P

Hehe. I was there for work. I'm currently doing home remodeling (mainly kitchen and bath) and we were taking a load to the dump. My partner wanted to look for a Cruiser to fix up and so we went over to the bike area, had a look and that's when I saw the Hutch! :D

hmm, I guess I should've made this comment beforehand. THe gallery is for whatever pictures you want to upload. I don't care if they're pictures of your car, your moms car, your son, your last high school reunion, your latest haircut, your friends, moms, aunts, cousins, daughters, dog. Whatever you want to put in there, put it in there :)
