I used to own a Honda Civic but I don't consider myself to be an ignorant person. But I know what you are talking about.

The Subaru drivers I have met are generally all around the 30-40 years old range and I have met them at the Autocross events in Barrie, Ontario. They are always up for giving advice or just talking about random crap. :P

Nah, I haven't been onto Nabisco. Between this site and the Toronto Subaru Club website I am busy. Is the Nabisco site a site to stay away from?

a vast majority of subaru owners are very very cool. But there is a group of people on nabisco that are elitists, and love to flame.

I'm mean too. :) and my first car was a honda

but not about owning subarus, about member numbers and making fun of people who's first subaru was an STi, accusing them of "jumping on the bandwagon" or whatever

I'm an elitist and damn proud! [disdain] Why would I want to consider myself as low as the majority of humans? [spit] Talking monkeys that they are ... I've evolved from a different line - the one that also begat elephants and whales and soon my breed of super-people will stomp our way to the top and rule the world! [Kung-Fu Theater laugh] The monkeys will all be my slaves and those band-wagon Subie owners will be the first into the strip mines!

^^^ Did that just come to you? hahaha.

One day I would like to own a STi but I love owning a car that isn't well known as a "Tuner" car. Where I live no one understands why I bought the Legacy.

How can you go wrong with a 5spd AWD Turbo SUBARU!?!
Don't get me wrong I loved my Civic but I have more fun driving the Legacy and it is pretty much stock. :)

I put a lot of time and money into my Civic...If any of you care to have a look...you can see it here.
