How different are WRX rear pads and Leg Turbo rear pads?
I don't have any spare rear T-Leg pads, so I can't compare right now, but I'm curious.
I got a set of Axxis Ultimates for free from a buddy of mine and my rears are crying, so I was hoping I could use the WRX pads.
Rear pads?

they are different, and won't work.
The tabs are what is different. The WRX pads use a single tab on the pad that slides between two brackets/tabs on the caliper bracket.
The turbo legacy pads or n/a legacy pads for that matter have two tabs on the pads and the caliper bracket has one tab/bracket.

Gotcha. Thanks Josh!
Guess the rears will have to cry for a while.
On the plus side (if you want to call it that), the NAPA "Premium" pads up front lasted just under 7,000 miles before wearing to the screamers. Crazy, huh?

Well, not exactly tracking, but I do put the car through it's paces. It's been more than once that I've ended a back road romp with smoking brakes and less than cool rotors. I wish I had an IR temp gun, as I am sure the rotors were up close to 700 degrees.

That's incredible. My "premium" pads went 16k, and they got cooked at least weekly. I guess i have less cooking power...BAC5.2 wrote:

Rotors are so glazed you might expect to find them in a pastry shop too...
