yeah i could do that, but i have other things i want to do while i have that elbow off so im going to wait. its been running the same since the day i bought it, so i can wait another week.
my girlfriend finaly found out that i spent more money and time on my car then her. she was kind pist to say the least.

Yeah, if you're seeing that little of vacuum at idle 750-800 rpm, then you either have a leak somewhere, or other engine problems.

like a bad valve, or a dieing cylinder. would bad air/fuel mixture cause low vacuum?

bad air/fuel mixture could cause poor idle, which might cause a low vacuum, but that's pretty substantial to be just a/f mix.

Have you tried the starting fluid around the engine while it's running to look for a vacuum leak?

i think i used starting fluid but not sure. i did spray something around the intake runners, tb, and all along the intake system and i didn't hear any changes in the engine. i do have a very rough idle
