It seems to be a point of confusion, I have heard many different discussions about the differential ratios.

Every NA automatic legacy I have took the time to check has had the 4.11 rear diff. I have also seen a 5 speed NA with 4.11 gearing.

The 92-94 automatic n/a legacies had 3.90 gearing. I know the 92 & 93's are this way, and I'm assuming the 94 is the same as well.

The manuals were all 4.111

But 90 and 91 have 4.11 in the auto! Why did they reverse the ratios?!
