Just for the amount of work put into it was. Claybar would have done the same thing--just need to get the inclusions out of white to make it look good.

I dunnnno about that. a claybar would have pulled out all the small surface imperfections. sure, it makes the car look nicer, but it doesn't take out waterspots or scratches. That's where you use a polish like the 3m stuff you used. (*cough*since i work for a company that makes these types of products i have a bit of inside knowledge about them*cough*). I won't shamless plug unless someone asks nicely.
Who's down for a detail tech session? My company is having one this saturday in Fife (Art, Laurel, FG: this means you!). It's free to come down and check it out.

depends on the time, but i'm totally down if we're done installing the STi suspension. I'd love to learn about detailing, seeing as my next car WILL have nice paint.
