My 2nd gear and reverse grind if I shift to fast. Just seeing what kind of transmission fluid you guys have found works the best.
Thanks.

Realize, though, that reverse will grind no matter what if the speeds aren't matched up, because it has no synchronizer. To shift into reverse, you should come to a complete stop while in another gear, and then shift into reverse. Or, alternatively, come to a stop with the clutch in, but shift into another gear before shifting into reverse. I have developed a habit of always throwing the shifter into 1st before reverse.

The drivetrain cannot have any parts moving when you attempt to shift into reverse. That means not only does the car have to be stopped but nothing in the transmission can be spinning either. The transmission will grind just as bad if you were sitting in Neutral with the clutch out and then suddenly shift to Reverse. In that situation, the input shaft is spinning, but the output shaft isn't, so obviously their speeds will be different.
You can wait a few seconds for the input shaft to come to a stop, or as vrg3 and Brat stated, putting it into another gear out of Neutral before Reverse will stop the input shaft from spinning, allowing you to shift into Reverse smoothly.
