Post by Jason Gunn »

Hi..Im new...I was just wondering if I could put a t3/t4 turbo on my 1992 Legacy. If so...would it be easy to do? Also another question...i was talking to someone one day and they said that their is a fuse that you can pull to make your all wheel drive subaru into front wheel drive! is this true? If so, which fuse is it........Can anyone help?

there is a fuse you can "put in" not pull, its located under the hood, on the passenger side firewall, it says"fwd" on it, its there for mechanical reasons, not to insert a fuse and do smokey burnouts, if you do that youll probly experince some tranny trouble down the line, and as for the t3/t4 its not plug and play, you should be ready to do some fabricating,

The fwd is only on automatic transmissions and the T3/T4 turbo is massive, you'd be looking at upgrading a lot more than just the turbo.
