What you should apologize for is your scrub spelling and grammar.
Vague ideas of wanting it low but not too low and to handle well enough to beat dsms isn't going to get you many serious answers.
Spring rate is the force it takes to compress a spring. It requires 200 lbs to compress a 200 lb/in spring one inch. Now go have fun reading the compendium. It's there (along with the search feature) so that we don't have to keep answering the same newbie questions over and over again.
Of course, if you want someone to just tell you what to get, I'll suggest KYB GR2 struts and whiteline control springs. Cheap, easy, and effective.

yea its the internet grammar and spelling mean bunk to me
but thanx for the suggestion on the gr2's. and when i say low but not too low, im generalizing i want a really agressive look without sacrifceing handling? dsms dont have a chance either way its fun to make fun of them though
but im think maybe like a 1-2 inch drop any suggestions on that would be nice also

the 2g dsm's have a much nicer suspension set up. The compendium doesn't list spring heights, but they're all pretty much the same height, from what i've seen. Whiteline stuff with gr2's is a pretty solid budget suspension set up. Generally lowering the car does as many bad things as good to the handling.

one thing to keep in mind is that gr-2's or agx's will raise the front a bit. I think a nice setup is gr-2's and stock springs in the rear and some rs/wrx take off strut/spring combo's in the front. Little or no drop but a bit stiffer in the front and good handling. Combine that with a whiteline 18-22 rear sway bar and wrx wheels and 205/50's, good stance and excelent versatility. cheap! Not to mention the ease of installation of take off strut assemblies (no compressing springs or disassembly of strut assemblies). Matt Monson has some wrx front take offs for sale at a good price right now (parts shed). But then i like to rally on dirt roads, if you only drive on pavement then go ahead and go lower.
honestly though i'm anti-drop, so guess i prolly should have kept my mouth shut on this thread.
