clutch bearing questions ( replacement)

Post by dscoobydoo »

OK, so the wrx clutch/flywheel is going in soon. So, do I get the corresponding WRX bearings or stay with SS ones? I figure on getting OEM ones unless you think I need better ones.
Yes I have too many Subarus

The throwout and pilot bearings are (should be) the same.

If your SS ones are new, I'd keep the SS ones, however if your SS ones are old and have a few miles on them, I'd replace them since you have everything apart.
