what are the offset of the rims?
i have 215/40/18 on mine... but the offset is like 45 or maybe even 38
my rears are starting to rub, and i will need to roll the inner fenders a bit.

dan, did you roll it, or did you have someone do it for you?
i need to do this, i thought that i had 215/40/18, but i actually have 225/40/18's as well.
rear rubs a little...
15's are back on now, until i replace with firmer suspension, and ideally roll rear fenders.

i rolled them my self, i parked the car on a curb so that one side was compressed a little and rolled it with a wooden baseball bat, worked great, do it on a hot day while the paint is warm though, less chance of chipping, my paint at the time was 2 days old so it was super soft still

Would wrx struts/springs stiffen things up enough to prevent rubbing with a 225/40/18?

nope, that's what i'm running. i'll be rolling the rear inner fenders this spring, and though i'll eventually be going with KYB's i may just give a set of stiffer springs a try.
proper tire fitmet is actually 225/35/18
good luck!
