Help!I got a lower boost and fault code 65

Post by 小山& »

HI  I come from Hong Kong,i see here many profressional people in this web site , everbody can help me? :(

guestions: My car is 97 Legacy BG5 AT Twin Turbo,no any specail
problem ,but the turbo just boost at 0.5Bar and some
time got a fault code 65 (Vaccum pressure sensor) .
I got a bad idea ! Install boost contorller to solve the
problem ,but i push the throttle fully ,the boost will go
up and down three time ,max just get 0.8 Bar,if i push
1/3 throttle , will stability keep in 0.8 Bar . What
happen in this case (lower boost and fault code 65)?

Seems like you may need a new MAP sensor.
Kickin' it old-school.

[url]it maybbe KNOCK SENSOR crack ,I feel that like ECU going on to the (Safe Mode).I already change the VACCUM PRESSURE SENSOR but no efect ,PRESSURE SENSOR I tested no problem ,I want to test KNOCK SENSOR now.I asked other people said 65code means:
1 VACCUM PRESSURE SENSOR .2 1st turbne change 2nd turbine timing wrong .3th boost lowest

Hello and welcome.

I'm not sure if i fully understand your symptoms or problem. But have you checked all of your vacuum lines? I know there are many on a single turbo, and probably twice as many on a twin turbo.

sounds like the problem might be "in" the ECU. find a good ECU and plug it in and see if the problem gos away.
