Are these the ones that go in the plate that bolts the rear diff to the crossmember?

I'm not sure whiteline makes a set for our specific application.

They are the bushings for the front outriggers of the dif carrier where it meets the body .

I know many people have done this :?

Yes you keep the stock plate. Basically you're putting one bushing between the body and outrigger and the other bushing between the plate and outrigger.

It should limit the up & down movement of the outrigger. Are you still seeing a substantial movement? There will probably still be a little movement, but it shouldn't be too bad.

I need to get around to doing that. The clunk gets annoying.

Yes, I still see a substantial amount of movement. It makes me think I should be retaining the stock bushing above the upper poly bushing I'm putting in, although I thought that this would be a total replacement for that bushing.

I'll put a picture up of what it looks like tightened up, have to pull the pictures off my phone a bit later.

Ok, maybe I misunderstood you initially.

You retain all the stock bushings and just add the whiteline bushings to fill in the gap.

Thanks, this is pretty much what I figured after taking another loon at the bushings. Want a picture put up for the sake of board posterity and/or quality? :)

Cool. I'll take one tomorrow and edit this post with it.

Try to do some small part to repay the wealth of knowledge this board provides me. :D

Once I'm done with my 91SS into 90L sedan swap (teaser, fully rebuilt ej22t w/tdo4,tmic, lot of mount, bushing, brake and other little goodies. not crazy, just clean. I'm obviously quite excited!) I'll put a full write-up to add to the collection.

Thanks!
Matt
