auto to auto swap questions

Ok so we have a 94 AWD wagon with 3.90's that needs a trans, we picked up a 4AT from the junk yard from a 96 AWD impreza, I can't find a reliable sorce as to what the final drive for the impreza is. I think they are 4.11's. and if they are can we just swap a 4.11 rear end into the legacy or will it set trans codes? AND if it does set trans codes will the impreza TCU work in the leg? we just want to get the car reliable. Any help would be great.
