Re: Injectors 2 and 3 not pulsing

11 ohms on the injectors themselves. I tested continuity from the injector wire to the bulkhead harness behind the battery, that checked out. Will check to the ecu as well. The thing that weirds me out is when hooking up my bulb to the injector harness, the two injectors not pulsing correctly on the...

Re: 02-03 WRX pedal set

The bolt is on the top if the pedal assembly, not going to the fire wall. It's approx 1/2" away from being perfect. Everything is still very sturdy as is.

Re: Injectors 2 and 3 not pulsing

No I haven't. What I've done as for wiring mods are only bypassing the neutral lock, wiring the reverse lights, and snipping the mt/at identifier. I've reconnected the snipped wire and got nothing. I've reinstalled the TCU and got nothing. Tomorrow morning I will be looking at the neutral lock by pa...

Re: Injectors 2 and 3 not pulsing

The injectors worked fine prior to the rebuild. I've gone back and redone all wiring ive done for the 5 speed swap with no avail. Something is telling the ecu to drop fuel to those two. When you disconnect the battery and drain the charge, then reconnect and start, it almost fires off, then the ecu ...

Injectors 2 and 3 not pulsing

Can't figure it out. They both give the start up initial pulse, then they stop, not continuing the rhythm like the other two injectors. Tested everything possible. Hoping someone can tell me from experience that I put something in backwards or something.

Let me know ASAP!!

Thanks!

Injectors not firing

Just finished doing my rebuild and 5 speed swap. Car wants to start, but two of the four injectors are cutting out after an initial pulse. Tested this, and it's the drivers side front and passenger side rear that are cutting out. Has spark. Any suggestions? I have a week until I leave for school, ne...

Re: Just keeps getting better...

Yes I'm referring to leaving 2 open and the two still in there. My thoughts are if these things fall out often, I wouldn't doubt many ej22ts have atleast 1 open without even knowing it. I'm afraid to take the pistons out.

Re: Just keeps getting better...

Capping them requires taking out the pistons correct? What would using 2 of them do, besides a slight decrease in oil pressure.

Just keeps getting better...

Realized today that 2 of my oil squirters managed to back out and 1 of them got hit, the other safely made its way to the pan. Question is.. are they required? I'm thinking, duh yeah. So I have to pull the pistons out to get them back in, or possibly split the case. Now who is gonna sell me an oil s...

Well I was curious on how these legacies have a manual odometer and the forester has a digital odometer. Not sure how that works.

Interchanging spedometer cable?

Swapping in a Forester tranny, and the location for the spedo cable is further back on the tranny compared to the stock 4EAT. Question is if I run to a junk yard, find a longer spedo cable from a Subaru, will it hook up fine to both the tranny and cluster? My thoughts are, yes, its a Subaru. Lol. Th...

Potenial problem..

I recently purhased a 93 Touring wagon with a blown headgasket. Just got done tearing the engine apart, and found what looks lke block sealer/head gasket leak stop stuff in there. Is this a problem for my internals? I am still not sure if I want to split the halves and put in new internals or not. T...

Let's talk front mounts..

I know I know, a td04 doesn't require a front mount and essentially it isn't needed, however as I was pricing out my 06 WRX tmic and pretty silicone y pipe today, I figured why not spend the extra money and just front mount it? Looks "better", not slanted at the back of the engine, and I a...

02-03 WRX pedal set

Is there a way to make a pedal set from a WRX work in a touring wagon? Currently doing my swap and remembered that WRX is pull and my transmission is push (I think, or vise versa). Just curious if it's been done. That's for any input.

Re: 93 SS lost Reverse last night (4EAT)

Tried the 2k rpm thing, didn't engage. All forward gears work, it's had a little bit of slipping in 2nd-3rd since I've had it. Fluid is perfect. Reverse works fine when it's cold as well. Probably just going to swap it.
