i thought they did too should have checked tho,my problem with boost is it spikes to around 1bar then drops to .5 bar.should i just change the mbc for a decent one the one on there now is just a bleeder from a fish tank.

ok getting somewhere now i gapped the plugs down turns out they were gapped too big.this sorted out the misfire and premature fuel cut.now another problem has arose when you put your foot down it hits full boost then slowly the boost backs off til it gets to .5bar where it settles. has anyone had th...

beleive it or not the boost is restricted to .5 bar and it still fuel cuts. it also backfires when the cut happens.the fuel pressure drops a little nothing much and the lambda locks rich. i have also had the car cut out a few times,today whilst fiddling i found that after removing the washer bottle ...

hi will try gapping plugs.with the boost solenoid i just unplugged the pipes the electrical connector is still connected.is this wrong should i plumb the mbc in with the solenoid.

hi checked and yes boost should be .9 bar.so thinking i do have a leak especially as the turbo sounds louder than it should,any advice on the best way to find where it could be leaking from.

hi all, my 91 legacy turbo isd performing very badly the acceleration is very poor its ok in first or second after that its rubbish.it gets to 80mph and thats it the gauge shows .5 bar boost but the car just won't pick up anymore.please help. there is no cel light coming on and everything else seems...

everything else is fine the only thing i am worried about is the maf because when i got the car it was fitted with a induction kit and the maf was not secured.also when you start the car from cold it has trouble catching the revs.what i mean is if you rev it a little instead of the revs dropping smo...

ok thanks i have plumbed in the standard controller and am getting just shy of .5 bar depending on the gear.however although this is around 8psi i am feeling no difference the turbo is getting up to boost of 8psi quickly but the car accelerates no quicker. whats happening. just been out for a run an...

hi all some of you may remember i used to have a big problem with fuel cut.i took your advise got rid of the saab hybrid turbo and got a standard leggy turbo and bingo no more fuel cut but i am only getting .5 bar of boost.any ideas what could cause this and whats the best way to check pipes for lea...

i have the same noise from my turbo.sounds fine on idle but rev it a little and it sounds like the fan is hitting the casing.but i am getting no power and a fair bit of smoke from the exhaust so changing the turbo.let me know what you find.

exhaust question

hi all, i am in need of the exhaust piece that comes from the back of the turbo on my 92 legacy its a stock turbo vf10 i think could be vf11 anyway looking at the td04 its got the same exhaust shape to it so will an impreza exhaust fit as they are easy to get hold of in wales but legacy parts are not.

ok took the car out today and noticed it runs fine when cold the problem only occurs when hot.i am hoping this will mean something to someone as i need to get it sorted.
