You have a vin number??? I MIGHT be interested in buying this car as a parts car. Does it start and drive? Why does it need a new starter?

i checked all the fuses they seem to be fine ( both fuse boxes ) but i still can't get the car to start

same symptome:
key in turn all the way, i hear a chime and nothing else works EXEPT the power locks....

could the battery not be powering eneogh juice ?

I have a 93 legacy turbo wagon
before last winter, i was having some starter problems and i found myself constantly having to hit the starter while turning the key to get the engine to turn over. I let the car sit over the winter and now i can't seem to get the car to start.

At first this delay wasn't really noticable, but it started getting worse and a week later on a cold night i ...

the previous owner of this car didn't fill it with premium gas, so i'm preping for the worst...

i'm not looking to boost the engine, i just wanna restore it...

Well i picked up the car, i definatly know the engine isn't healthy but the body of this car was MINT, frame had no rust, interior was like new etc ... for $1200 cnd i think it's decent.

well the guy took it to a service shop, and had it done there
don't know the place he did it @, but i'm looking ...

looked @ a car today ... owner had it recently serviced and also checked the compression numbers :

cly 1-4 : 50,85,65,50

the car doesn't idle that smoothly, and the guy who owned the car told me the idle speed screw is seized, so it can't be adjusted :?

don't know a whole bunch about this car ...
