but mine's a thunking something fierce and i don't think it'll last much longer.... right now i have a '91 AWD 4EAT; i'd like to swap it over to a 5MT. i briefly glanced at josh's write up, but since that's an AWD + 5MT swap, will i need all of it? kinda confused how where exactly the AWD comes into ...

they'll work. i got a '91 also; warning lights are identical.

i'm talking about the entire exhaust underneath the car. lol. from where it bolts onto the manifold back to the muffler.

the main difference i can see is there is a seperate extension piece on the earlier model between the two cats.... but that's just from eyeballing it up. (compared my '91 to ...

90-91 and 92-94 seem to be different; can't find the 90-91 in the stores around here but they list the 92-94... are they similar? will they fit? i'd think it would just by looking at it; i know the headers are the same.... but... the hood scoop is different, so i'd like to know for sure before i buy ...

that's really cool. once i get my deerplow (trust me; doesn't resemble what i want a subie to look like) fixed up, i'll attend these next year.

what would be really cool is like a gumball race through both canada and the us.... only for subies tho.

ok, i can find the front fenders, but what about the quarter panels and other hard to find panels? i really don't want to pay ~ $300 each from the dealer. :(

is the metal piece under the hood that directs the airflow different too?

if i can find a turbo hood w/scoop; i'll sell it for the $30 i paid for it; if not, i'm probably just going to keep it and order a new hood from a dealer and bolt it on...

got a hood scoop today from a '92; however my new hood is a '91 N/A... so... how hard will it be to mount this scoop? could anyone post some step by step directions for me? i looked into getting an aftermarket hood, but they only sell N/A's and i don't want to pay the dealer price.... help, anyone ...

i went to pick the '92 up yesterday, but it was bad deal. the front fenders were all bent out of shape. crapola. the lights and bumper were good, but the fenders and hood were shot.

oh-well, guess i'm in the market for a new subie now....

okay. well, got the digital nikon camera, repair manual, tools, jack and stands all ready. called the guy about the '92. will be picking it up later tonight. then tomorrow i'll try the swap.

quick question... the metal piece above the headlights (right behind grill) is bent on the driver side ...
