they were all done before I bought the car from a friend who built it so I can't really comment. the entire package works really well, when it got re-built last year and got tuned on the dyno, we had 315hp at the wheels, running 20psi. the power delivery is a bit slack below 3500rpm, but once the it...

well, I bought the 50mm DMS for my legacy. Have done one rally on them and a very wet rally it was and my one response would be ... WOW.

they are fantastic. The ride is amazing, and the stability is just unreal. I would recommend them to any one...

I was wrong, I have the VF-22... if has a lot of lag mainly because of the set up... but then again I am not the engine builder nor tuner, I leave that to the experts

I think we run the VF30 on my legacy rally car. if this is the big impreza one, then it is the same, they suffer big turbo lag, have a good top end, but not a lot below 3500 - 4000rpm. we run anti-lag which sort of solves it, but even then if you drop below it takes a bit to get the old bus going ag...

we run an albins gearkit, and that broke last year, good ol second shat a tooth off. we do have 315BHP though, so that might have sometihng to do with it. have been thinking, a gearbox cooler would be a great idea to keep the temps down, as that is what will do the damage. might be on the list at th...

my engine is a bit of a beast. runs Carillo rods, arp rod bolts. forged pistons, impreza heads and a big whopping (I forget the ID) impreza turbo. I run a Link engine management computer with full anti-lag, and the car is putting out approx 310hp at the wheels on the dyno, at 20psi. subsequently, we...

nice..good to see legacies are used overseas. do you rally it or use it for rallycross, what sort of suspension are you running / gearbox?

I have just purchased one here in New Zealand, and I have some pics of it on my website at www.redhillsbenz.co.nz

cheers

it's just the price, the are a little on the expensive side, so I am trying to find out if there are alternatives that give a level of performance that is similar. If the car still had the DMS in it I would be as happy a 3yr old in a sandpit.

thanks all for your comments, it is a great colour, needs a bit of T&C and some sponsor decals on it, but it sures goes fast. The engine is brand new, and we have it running approx 310BHP at the moment running 20psi, witha link computer. we run anit-lag, and the gearbox runs a prodrive steel gea...

Legacy "Rally" Suspension

hey all, new to this forum, but I thought I would ask the question, has anyone got any of the suspension setting details from the Prodrive legacy that were use on gravel events, especially New Zealand. Specifically what I am after is: - wheel alignment detials - valving of the struts - spring rates ...
